Peter Schwartz is president of Peter Schwartz & Associates, a firm that specializes in increasing the effectiveness of chief executives and senior management by focusing on leadership development and organizational effectiveness. Mr. Schwartz has over 25 years experience taking early-stage concepts and companies to maturity. He successfully grew two e-marketplaces into leaders in the Federal and State government space.
Until it was sold in Jan 2009, Mr. Schwartz was a principal of ECAmerica. ECAmerica is the next generation sales, and channel management methodology for the reselling of goods and services to the Federal Government. Mr. Schwartz was selected (from private industry) to serve as a member of the General Services Administration (GSA) Information Technology Industry Government Advisory Council. In this capacity, Mr. Schwartz represented the technology industry’s interests with respect to the GSA schedules best practices in contracting. In addition, Mr. Schwartz served as chairman of a prominent subcommittee on this industry advisory council.
In August 2005, Vistage International, the world’s largest membership organization of chief executives named Mr. Schwartz as a "Vistage Chair" in Washington DC. As a Vistage Chair, Mr. Schwartz is responsible for building and facilitating groups of CEO’s and their chief executives that meet monthly to discuss key issues, share expertise and seek confidential help in critical situations. Mr. Schwartz currently chairs 3 chief executive groups. As a Vistage Chair, Mr. Schwartz serves as an executive coach, meeting individually with each member to discuss goals and strategies for the improvement of both the members business and their personal leadership skills. In 2012 Mr. Schwartz received the "Chair Excellence Award".
Mr. Schwartz is a certified executive coach having graduated from both Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching and the Meta-Coach Foundations certification programs. He is an active member of the International Coach Federation (ICF). Mr. Schwartz has advanced certifications in NLP, Neuro-Semantics, The Leadership Circle 360 Instrument and Opposite Strengths. He is a member of the assist team for Meta-Coach trainings. He has considerable experience in training, coaching, and mentoring senior leaders and management teams.

Bill Blackburn, CDR, USN (ret), is the founder and President of
Blackburn & Associates, LLC, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned
Small Business and an Affiliate of Academy Leadership. He also
serves as an Adjunct Professor of Leadership for Villanova
University. Bill’s passion for the difference leadership can make in
the world is a result of his three careers and over 40 years immersed
in the study and practice of exceptional leadership and performance.
During his 20 year career as a naval officer and aviator, he served in
critical leadership roles that required both his own personal
leadership and his ability to build teams and organizations to achieve highly complex
assignments. On multiple occasions, he commanded CH-46 helicopter units on extended
overseas deployments supporting the Navy’s aircraft carrier battle groups. After attending the
US Army War College, he served on the joint staff of the Commander-in-Chief of the Pacific as
one of the key briefers in the Strategic Plans Division.
In 15 years as a consultant for Gap International, a firm known for its expertise in breakthrough
business results, Bill honed his skills as an effective executive coach for senior business leaders
and a facilitator of their programs. As a direct result of his effective coaching and partnership
with these leaders, their teams consistently produced sustainable exceptional business
performance. He is a skilled facilitator in leadership development, strategic and operational
planning, organizational alignment and team building.
Since joining Academy Leadership in 2009, Bill leads both public â€œopen enrollmentâ€ programs
and designs and delivers internal leadership programs for public and private organizations. He
serves as a member of the CEO’s Advisory Board and the Curriculum Committee responsible
for the design and development of Academy Leadership’s programs. Bill graduated from the
US Naval Academy with a BS in Aerospace Engineering, from San Diego State University with
a MA in Education and from the US Army War College.
