Executive Leaders Radio

We've proven the Greater Philadelphia Region wants to listen and learn from our local Executive Leaders, and that it is an honor for these Executive Leaders to be recognized and chosen to share their secrets for success!

In June 2005 on WWDB 860-AM (Philadelphia's #1 BusinessNews Radio Station) we began interviewing our region's top executive leaders (Fridays 10-11am). The ten to twenty-five minute interviews are long enough to provide our potential audience of 6.7 million listeners (estimated 70% men, ages 25-64) in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware a good sense of "what makes success," yet short enough to make it easy for our executives to relax and share their secrets of success without tons of preparation.

In January 2007 we began focusing on CEOs of locally owned-and-operated businesses, $10million-$100million in revenue (though on occasion we have interviewed the CEOs of SAP, Hercules, Safeguard and several hot early-stage companies). Our Host, Herb Cohen, conducts a warm and human interview with each of our guests to learn what makes them tick, how they were able to build their enterprise, their personal secrets of success, management style, industry trends, challenges and opportunities ahead. Our show is packed with wisdom.

Herb frequently invites co-hosts to keep our interviews fresh and lively. These co-hosts include Michael Hagy (Vistage), Phil Jaurigue (Philadelphia Business Journal 100 Alumni), Sam Sklaroff (habitual entrepreneur), Susan Bishop (Bank of America) and other community leaders.

Due to requests from our listening audience, WWDB and our sponsors in February 2008 we doubled the number of on-air interviews and began our second show focusing on CFOs and Women Executive Leaders, 11am-12noon on Fridays. And we've been invited to bring our localized content into 31 other markets nationally.

We've hit a winning formula. Our audience religiously listen to how these leaders got started, where they're headed, and their true secrets for success. Our guests thoroughly enjoy their ten to twenty-five minutes with Herb, including the deserved recognition. While WWDB performs a valuable public service and increases their advertising revenues.

Herb co-founded 800-THE-PROS, Temple University's Center for the Advancement and Study of Entrepreneurship, the Pennsylvania Private Investors Group, QuiqMeds and ExecutiveLeaders Radio.
